Book Your Theory Test Online
Make sure you are definitely ready before you book your test.
You can book your theory test direct with the DSA here. The cheapest and easiest method of booking your theory test is with the DSA direct. You do not need to use a third party who may well charge you commission.
You cannot book at the local theory test centres. You have to book with the central booking office.
The easiest way to book is online. You must have a credit or debit card. If booking by phone and using someone else's card, the cardholder must be present when you book. You can usually get a date within two to three weeks and should get a confirmation letter.
When you go for your theory test, make sure you take both parts of your provisional licence (photocard and paper counterpart) and your confirmation letter.
